Muck and the Mires opened for the Len Price 3 on Mar 20, 2026 and were a full on blast of retro but fresh catchy rock ‘n roll. Their latest album, Beat Revolution, reviewed here, is a must have! They played a lot of songs, old and new, including a Voodoo Dolls song (“Muck” used to be in that band) and the Ape Hangers song “I’m Your Man” which always goes down well (lead guitarist “Pedro” is also in that band). Two songs were very new as they have a new single out, called “Tripping Out On Love”, available here, and they played both sides. Another EP is on the way from Ghost Highway. It was nice to see them play in front of a full hometown crowd, as I’ve only seen them in San Diego (three times!) in front of minimal people. The place was packed and rockin’! Muck & The Mires always deliver and are one of those bands that is worth going out of your way to see. Which we did, as we traveled 3,000 miles!
Here’s some pictures for you.
