Takin' A Ride

Another Mercyful Fate soundboard that I like to think I improved a little. I had to do a bit of extra work on this one, as the volume levels changed mid-song during “Return Of The Vampire”. I raised the volume levels, then split the guitars into two tracks and adjusted the levels between the two guitars. “Satan’s Fall” is just a mess. Things are completely different and muddier on the original tape. So I tried to make it like the other songs as much as I could. The bass track seemed to be attached to the left guitar track, so there wasn’t much I could do there. If I increase the guitar, the bass gets increased, and the guitar needed to be increased. So it is what it is. But it still sounds pretty good!
