I’ve seen the Humpers at least a dozen times. The last time I saw them was probably 25 years ago. One thing was always for certain: they would be drunk, rambunctious, chaotic, raw, and loud. And nothing has changed in all those years. Not one thing.
There was a messed up microphone that worked on and off, multiple shots of whiskey being given to the band, and loud feedback. And all that was in the first song! People were throwing beer all over the place too.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way. On the way back to the car, a violent but jovial old punk rocker told my wife he liked her style.
