I saw these guys in Geelong Australia during the River Rocks 2024 festival and they completely blew me away. Their set started off hard, fast, and heavy and I’m thinking “ok, yeah! This is right up my alley!” and then by the middle of the set I was like “OH MY GOD!” and by the end I was completely floored. Speechless.
And their album “…Or Die!” is just like their live set. Starts off with a bang, but gets even better as it goes along! By the end of it, your mind is blown. The vocals are a little heavy on the echo and sometimes mixed too loud for the first few songs, but this seems to fix itself by the middle of the album. Hard, heavy, fast music with wailing solos that just don’t let up.
They also have some friends doing some guest appearances. Most notably Mafi ‘Tuffy’ Watson on “Loser” who provides some really cool background vocals that work really well. And also Willie J who does his best Bon Scott impersonation singing on “6-Pack” which leaves you wondering if maybe they should have him on vocals for all the songs. He’s that good!
The album flat out ROCKS. From start to finish. And even gets better as it goes on. Inspired by Motorhead, Judas Priest, and AC/DC (I’d even throw in some NWOBHM influences like Holocaust and Savage) it leaves you wanting more. HIGHLY recommended!!!
